Client: Premom
Role: Concept, filming & editing
Platform: TikTok Format: 25.8-second vertical video
The Challenge
Fertility education is a hard sell in a scroll-fast format: the topic is clinical, the audience is anxious, and TikTok gives you about a second to earn attention before someone swipes past. The specific idea here (that ovulation predictor kits and progesterone tests measure two different things, and you need both to actually determine if you ovulated) is genuinely useful information, but it’s the kind of nuance that’s easy to explain badly and easy to make boring.
What I Did
I conceived (pun intended), filmed, and edited the video end to end:
- Opened on a hand-held hook (“Is your Progesterone high enough after ovulation?”) layered over the physical PdG test box, to earn the first-second attention a scroll-stopping video needs
- Walked through the physical test strip itself, then cut to a screen recording of the Premom app’s PdG test-scanning feature (camera guide, automatic positive/negative read)
- Delivered the actual educational payoff in one clear line: “OPKs tell you ovulation is coming. PdG tells you if your body followed through.”
- Closed on a direct, low-friction call to action (“Log BOTH in the Premom app and never miss your fertile days”) that ties the education straight back to app usage
